Christ Church is a parish
of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts serving the town of
Andover and surrounding communities. It was established in 1835
and continues to enjoy a thriving congregational life of worship,
fellowship, and service. Parishioners come from all walks of
life, and from many denominational backgrounds. We are a community
of young and old, of those who are firm in the faith and those
struggling to make sense of it all. We welcome people of all
ages and stages in life and in the journey of faith. Everyone
is encouraged to participate in our programs of Christian Formation,
where we strive to present the faith in ways that are understandable
and accessible to all. We are a community of support for individuals
and families -- traditional families and non-traditional families
alike. All are welcome here. Opportunities for service abound
at Christ Church, whether through our well-established Thrift
Shop and Children's Center ministries, through worship and Christian
education, participating in our fabulous music program, or in
one of our many ministries of outreach and mission such as our
youth mission projects, Habitat for Humanity, Neighbors in Need,
Bread and Roses, or the newly established Esperanza Academy,
School of Hope. First and foremost, we are a community that
gathers week by week to offer worship to God and to be fed for
our journey in the Eucharist. Every hungry soul is welcomed
at the table in this place. We invite you to join us!
