Join us for five upcoming Sundays for our annual Lenten Study. We will gather in the Meeting Room (go in the Education wing door and up the stairs) at 5:00 p.m. The discussion will also be available via Zoom. A simple meal of soup and bread will be served following our discussion (unfortunately not to our Zoom participants!). Click here to join us on Zoom.
This year we will be reading a book entitled "Life Together" by Dietrich Bonhoeffer. This short work, neatly divided into five chapters, is a classic exploration of what it looks like to be in Christian community. Given the ways Christian communities have been significantly altered over the course of the pandemic, this seems like a good time to reflect on the gift, the reasons, and the practices of being together as Christians.
Our schedule:
Sunday, February 26: "Community" (chapter 1)
Sunday, March 5: "The Day with Others" (chapter 2)
Sunday, March 12: "The Day Alone"
Sunday, March 19: "Ministry"
Sunday, April 2*: "Confession and Communion"
* We will skip March 26 as there is a service of Choral Evensong that evening.
