Giving to Christ Church

Everything we do at Christ Church depends on the voluntary generosity of its members and friends.  We hope you will join others who make a regular commitment to giving back a portion of what you have received from God.

There are several ways to give to Christ Church:

  • Annual Giving
  • Planned Giving
  • Special Gifts

Annual Giving is the foundation on which our financial well-being is built at Christ Church.  Consistent, growing, pledged income enables all of the many ministries, staff salaries, and infrastructure costs that are funded through our operating budget.

Our 2018 Annual Fund is called "Journey to Generosity". Click here for "Frequently Asked Questions" about stewardship and pledging to Christ Church. Click here to view a chart of our 2017 income and expenses distribution. To make a pledge for 2018, you may either click here to make a pledge online, or you may click here to download a 2018 pledge form and mail it in to the Glebe House church offices, ATTN: Karen Aalto, 25 Central St., Andover, MA 01810. You may also just e-mail your pledge amount to Karen Aalto, our Director of Finance.

And it's not too late to make a pledge for 2017! You may either click here to download a 2017 pledge form and mail it in to Karen Aalto at the address above, click here to make a pledge online or just e-mail your pledge amount to Karen Aalto.

Do you already pay some of your bills online?  You can give to Christ Church in the same way!  For information about how to set up direct payments to Christ Church, click here.

We can now offer you a convenient new way to make your regular offerings.  With our new electronic giving program, you can easily set up a recurring giving schedule or make one-time contributions. If you are currently giving on a weekly basis, you will no longer need to write out 52 checks a year or prepare 52 envelopes.  If you think you may miss church services this summer due to travel or other commitments, consider setting up an automatic giving schedule. Your consistent support is vital to Christ Church, especially during summer months. To become an electronic giver, click here.  If you have already logged in to our online directory, you can use the same password for online giving. If you are not a member of Christ Church but would like to make a donation, you can choose to create a log-in or not, but you will not be able to access the online directory until you let us know that you'd like to become a member. Please note that this new feature does involve fees for the church. Credit and debit card transactions are the most expensive (Visa and Mastercard is 2.75% and American Express is 3.50%). Checking and savings account withdrawals take no percentage off of your gift.  If donating by a credit or debit card, please consider making a small additional donation to help cover the cost of this convenience.

Have you remembered Christ Church in your will?  Planned Gifts are a wonderful way to remember Christ Church even after one has died.  Unrestricted bequests go to the Marland Fund, an endowment fund to help sustain Christ Church into the future.  If you would like to know more about making a planned gift, please contact Karen Aalto.  For suggested language to use in your will, you might find Planning for the End of Life to be a helpful resource.  You can access a pdf copy of it by clicking here.

Special Gifts may be made to the Flower Fund, Music Fund, Cemetery Fund, Memorial Fund, or the Rector's Discretionary Fund, by clicking here.
