Giving to Christ Church

Click here to make a donation to Christ Church.

Everything we do at Christ Church depends on the voluntary generosity of its members and friends.  We hope you will join others who make a regular commitment to giving back a portion of what you have received from God.

There are several ways to give to Christ Church:

  • Annual Giving
  • Planned Giving
  • Special Gifts

Annual Giving is the foundation on which our financial well-being is built at Christ Church.  Consistent, growing, pledged income enables all of the many ministries, staff salaries, and infrastructure costs that are funded through our operating budget.

Our 2021 Stewardship Campaign is called "Faith-Filled Generosity".  To make a pledge for 2021, you may either click here to make a pledge online, or you may click here to download a 2021 pledge form, print it out and mail it in to the Glebe House church offices, ATTN: Karen Aalto, 25 Central St., Andover, MA 01810.  You may also just e-mail your pledge to Karen Aalto, our Director of Finance.

Do you already pay some of your bills online?  You can give to Christ Church in the same way!  For information about how to set up direct payments to Christ Church, click here.

We can now offer you a convenient new way to make your regular offerings.  With our electronic giving program, you can easily set up a recurring giving schedule or make one-time contributions. If you are currently giving on a weekly basis, you will no longer need to write out 52 checks a year or prepare 52 envelopes.  If you think you may miss church services due to travel or other commitments, consider setting up an automatic giving schedule. Your consistent support is vital to Christ Church, especially during summer months. To become an electronic giver, click here.  If you have already logged in to our online directory, you can use the same password for online giving. If you are not a member of Christ Church but would like to make a donation, you can choose to create a log-in or not, but you will not be able to access the online directory until you let us know that you'd like to become a member. Please note that this new feature does involve fees for the church. Credit and debit card transactions are the most expensive (Visa and Mastercard is 2.75% and American Express is 3.50%). Checking and savings account withdrawals take no percentage off of your gift.  If donating by a credit or debit card, please consider making a small additional donation to help cover the cost of this convenience.

Have you remembered Christ Church in your will?  Planned Gifts are a wonderful way to remember Christ Church even after one has died.  Unrestricted bequests go to the Marland Fund, an endowment fund to help sustain Christ Church into the future.  If you would like to know more about making a planned gift, please contact Karen Aalto.  For suggested language to use in your will, you might find Planning for the End of Life to be a helpful resource.  You can access a pdf copy of it by clicking here.

Special Gifts may be made to the Flower Fund, Music Fund, Cemetery Fund, Memorial Fund, or the Rector's Discretionary Fund, by clicking here.

Altar Flower Gifts:
If you would like to give the Altar Flowers in memory of (or in honor of or thanksgiving for) a loved one, please fill out this form and click "submit". Payment instructions are on the form.

Donations of any amount may be made (the average Sunday flower arrangement costs $80.00).  If you have any questions, please e-mail Mary Ann Lennon in the church office.
