Esperanza Academy is a tuition-free middle school for girls from low-income families in Lawrence, MA, established in 2006 by Christ Church and our partners at Grace Church in Lawrence. The thirteenth class graduated in June 2021. Esperanza graduates have gone on to succeed in competitive high schools, and the first group of Esperanza graduates graduated from college in 2017. Christ Church parishioners are very involved at the school, serving as tutors, running extra-curricular classes in music, knitting, and gardening, and serving on the board.
