"I give you a new commandment, that
you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should
love one another." John 13:34
These words of Jesus set the standard for ministries of Caring and
Sharing at Christ Church. Caring and Sharing take many forms, from
the invitation and welcome of visitors and newcomers into Christ
Church, to the fellowship we enjoy at our coffee hour or parish
suppers, to the prayer shawl ministry and our pastoral outreach
to those who are sick or homebound or a variety of small group ministries.
Caring and Sharing are important aspects of building community --
the community of Christ's body -- and the strengthening of the bonds
of affection that draw us together and enable us to serve God more
faithfully through serving one another.
