A new dinner group was formed in 2009 with an enthusiastic response from church members, and now has about 80 members. These small, informal dinners in parishioners' homes help to develop new friendships and rekindle existing ones. The dinners take place approximately every other month from September to May in groups of 6 to 10.  The host develops the menu and provides the entrée, and the guests each bring a pre-assigned food item and a bottle of wine.
