Baptisms at Christ Church

Baptism is the rite of initiation into the Christian community, what St. Paul calls "the body of Christ." Baptism may happen at any age, whether infant, child, youth, or adult. We welcome all inquirers to speak to us about this important step of incorporation into the life of the Church.

Baptisms are always celebrated in the context of our Sunday worship, mostly on the principal feast days of the Christian year. Upcoming baptism dates are:

• March 30, 2024 (Easter Vigil at 8:00 p.m. - better for older children or adults)
• April 7, 2024 (Second Sunday of Easter)
• May 19, 2024 (Day of Pentecost)
• November 3, 2024 (celebration of All Saints Day)

We sometimes also schedule an extra baptism date in the summer.
